manifesto

I don't work from a spec someone hands me. I start with the actual work — how your people do it, where it breaks — because that's what decides what's worth building.

Then I get it running for real: a working application inside your company, with all its rules and its IT department. I get on with those people, respect their security, and don't leave a mess — so they let me in where they'd keep most outsiders out.

LLMs changed how code gets written. They didn't change what makes software good: understanding the problem, and caring how it runs. That's still a craft, and it's the part I've always done.
